At Wayla, we are committed to offsetting the carbon emissions associated with our worldwide shipping processes. E-commerce deliveries have a carbon footprint, and we believe in taking responsibility for ours. That’s why we collaborate with Carbon Direct, a leader in science-backed carbon management solutions, to ensure that our shipments are carbon-neutral.
Carbon Direct specializes in helping organizations measure, reduce, and remove carbon emissions through a combination of software platforms and expert advisory services. Their team of over 60 scientists carefully vets carbon removal initiatives, ensuring that our contributions are directed toward high-quality projects that effectively remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
For every order placed, Carbon Direct calculates the estimated shipping emissions using a specific formula. A portion of our revenue is then allocat ed to support certified carbon removal projects - ranging from nature-based solutions like reforestation to advanced technologies that capture and store CO₂ permanently. By partnering with Carbon Direct, we are not only neutralizing the impact of our deliveries but also investing in the future of carbon removal. Any extra funds go toward further developing these technologies, making long-term carbon reduction more effective and scalable.
Through this initiative, Wayla ensures that every shipment is a step toward more sustainable, responsible logistics. We live for today, but we care for tomorrow.

Heirloom
Heirloom accelerates the natural process of carbon mineralization to capture CO₂ directly from the atmosphere. By enhancing the rate at which minerals like limestone absorb CO₂, Heirloom offers a cost-effective and scalable solution for permanent carbon removal.

Running Tide
Running Tide's ocean health interventions restore ecosystems and enhance coastal resiliency. They focus on coastal and open ocean restoration interventions, utilizing technology and data to amplify natural processes.
Mast Forestation
Formerly known as Mast Forest, Mast Reforestation focuses on restoring forests in the American West that have been severely affected by wildfires. They develop carbon removal credits by reforesting areas unlikely to recover naturally, emphasizing future fire resilience and ecological health.
Clime Works
According to the SBTi standard, a credible, science-based net-zero strategy must combine both emissions reductions and the active removal of unavoidable CO₂ emissions. Climeworks specializes in direct air capture (DAC) technology, removing CO₂ directly from ambient air. Their DAC facilities capture CO₂, which is then permanently stored underground, providing a measurable and permanent carbon removal solution.
Grassroots
Grass Roots offers high-quality carbon removal credits with water, ecosystem, and community co-benefits. They combine cutting-edge science and climate technology with ranchers regenerating America’s grasslands to help your company achieve its climate targets.
Carbon partners with ranchers across the United States to enhance soil carbon sequestration. By promoting regenerative land management practices, they facilitate the storage of carbon in grasslands, offering carbon credits with additional benefits to water systems, ecosystems, and communities.
Remora
Remora has developed a device that captures CO₂ emissions directly from semi-truck tailpipes as they drive. The captured CO₂ is then stored and either sold for utilization or sequestered permanently, providing a practical solution for reducing emissions in the transportation sector.

When our shipments are sent with DHL, they go through the GoGreen Plus program, which helps reduce carbon emissions by using Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) instead of traditional jet fuel. Unlike carbon offsetting, which compensates for emissions elsewhere, this approach directly reduces emissions from air transport, cutting greenhouse gases by up to 80% compared to fossil fuels.
When shipments are sent with FedEx, they are part of the company’s ongoing efforts to lower its carbon footprint. FedEx has committed to carbon-neutral operations by 2040 and has implemented fuel-efficient aircraft, route optimization, and hybrid-electric vehicles in select regions to cut emissions.
In the Asia-Pacific region, including Indonesia, FedEx has introduced zero-tailpipe emissions vehicles and operates energy-efficient facilities to reduce waste and energy use. While sustainability efforts vary across locations, we prioritize the most responsible shipping options available.
Because every step toward a cleaner future matters.
