Fast fashion industry being one of the most resource-intensive industries our slow fashion philosophy aims to redefine value and defy the idea of prevalent fast fashion consumerism. We offer an alternative to mass produced fast fashion made in sweat shops, often from synthetic petroleum based materials such as acrylic and polyester. As we work towards overstock free production, we manufacture in small batches honoring sustainable production practices and compensate our workers fairly for their skilled workmanship.

S U S T A I N A B L E   L I N E N 

 

Our linen collection is made with OEKO-TEX® CERTIFIED linen produced from environmentally and socially responsibly grown certified EUROPEAN FLAX® fiber. EUROPEAN FLAX® certificate guarantees traceability of the fibre as well as waste free cultivation without use of irrigation, GMO or chemicals. A garment made with OEKO-TEX® CERTIFIED linen from EUROPEAN FLAX® is an eco-responsible choice with low environmental impact.

 

L E N Z I N G™   E C O V E R O™

 

Our sustainable rib collection is made with LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose fibers which are derived from certified and controlled renewable wood and pulp sources using an eco-responsible production process. The fibers have been certified with the EU Ecolabel as meeting high environmental standards throughout each process of their life cycle.  A garment made with LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose is an eco-responsible choice with reduced environmental impact.

 

 

O U R    P A C K A G I N G .

  

All our packaging is plant based and biodegradable.  Please REUSE, RECYCLE & COMPOST accordingly. 

 

Unfortunately Indonesia has still limited availability for recycled paper products. We have done our best for making conscious decisions regarding our packaging yet are hoping to improve further once we can source even more sustainable options locally. On the whole we are packing our garments in the most minimal way while still offering you a touch of elevation as well as making sure that all items are well protected and arrive safely and undamaged. 

 

M A I L E R   B O X

 

We do not use single use plastic bags for individual items. Instead we store our stock in our showroom in reusable breathable containers and place each order before shipping in our custom kraft cardboard boxes. These boxes are biodegradable and can either be reused, recycled or composted accordingly.

All above items are plastic free, made with plant based materials and are all recyclable and compostable.

 

S H I P P I N G    M A I L E R S 

 

After doing vast research we opted for recycled plastic mailers instead of compostable ones due to around 85% of the material in the compostable mailers still being virgin petroleum based. After a long consideration process we decided to use the recycled plastic mailers offered by our shipping company, instead of ordering separate ones from overseas.

Together, participating businesses have

  • Removed more than thousands of tonnes of carbon from the atmosphere
  • Provided carbon-neutral shipping for more than millions of orders

For every order we receive, Planet by Shopify app utilizes a formula that calculates the estimated shipping emissions. Based on those estimates, a portion of our revenue automatically goes to carbon removal companies that have been vetted by scientists from Carbon Direct. Those companies use that money to remove however much carbon our shipments created. Any extra funds go toward the further development of carbon removal technologies.
